Check out how the Aunt Jemima image is used in each of the ads below. It’s interesting how in the older ad, Aunt Jemima is a “lively” character with speaking parts, while in the newer ad Aunt Jemima is merely a logo (but an updated logo at that). What other changes do you notice? One similarity that we see is that both ads are social to a degree. The older ad is a cartoon, and the newer ad can be clicked to “like” on Facebook.
