Face time.

It’s safe to say that advertising has changed over the years. And with those changes, icons of advertising have evolved, too.

Popular faces such as the Brawny man, Betty Crocker, and Mr. Clean have all had their fair share of makeovers. But what do these new looks say about advertising in general? How and why have these faces changed? Whether you are an everyday consumer or an advertising professional, we believe that you will have something to say about the changes in ad faces.

Take a minute and look around. Feel free to comment, interact, and submit new stuff to the Mailbag. Let’s discover how advertising has changed along with its familiar faces . . . and discuss ways to make ads better than ever before.
